The first quarter of 2026 has marked a strong start for Tekta, with growth across multiple fronts including product innovation, team expansion, and project delivery across the UK and Europe.
A key highlight of Q1 has been continued momentum behind Tekta’s EI-rated fire door range, designed to deliver the highest levels of fire protection through integrity and insulation. These solutions are critical in environments where safety, compliance, and operational continuity are non-negotiable, helping protect people, assets, and infrastructure in sectors such as data centres, food production and pharmaceuticals . With products like the Traffidor Pass and Pyrodor range, Tekta continues to provide robust, certified fire-rated solutions that meet the evolving demands of modern facilities .
Beyond product development, Q1 has also been about people and purpose. A standout initiative has been Tekta’s charity walk from Land’s End to John O’Groats in support of Rowans Hospice. The team collectively walked over 874 miles in February, raising a great £500 for the charity, demonstrating the company’s commitment not only to performance, but to making a meaningful impact beyond the workplace.
Internally, Tekta has undergone exciting change with a new office move, doubling our capacity and creating a space that reflects the company’s growth ambitions and collaborative culture. This has been complemented by strategic investment in people, with the project, sales, operations, and engineering teams expanding to support increasing demand and ensure continued excellence in project delivery.
That demand is being driven by success in winning and delivering major projects. In Q1 alone, Tekta secured and progressed work across the UK, Guernsey, Belgium and the Republic of Ireland, reinforcing its reputation as a trusted partner for high-performance doorway solutions. Notably, this includes involvement in five data centre projects, a sector where Tekta’s expertise in controlled environments and reliability is particularly valued. With over 25 years of experience delivering specialised doorway systems, the business continues to support critical infrastructure where performance is essential .
As Tekta moves into Q2, the foundations laid in the first quarter, strong teams, innovative products, and a growing project portfolio, position the us well for continued success. With a clear focus on quality, safety, and service, Tekta remains committed to delivering “doorways that matter” across every sector it serves.
