How to prevent damage to your industrial doors

Industrial doors are critical to smooth operations in food facilities, pharmaceutical plants, and data centres. They don’t just provide access, they ensure compliance with hygiene standards, maintain temperature control, and protect high-value assets. When these doors fail, it can lead to costly downtime, compliance risks, and security issues. Understanding the most common causes of industrial door damage and how to prevent it can help businesses extend the life of their doors and avoid disruptions.

1. High Traffic and Vehicle Impact

In warehouses, cleanrooms, and server halls, forklifts, pallet trucks, and service carts are constantly moving goods and equipment. Collisions with high-speed doors or loading bay doors are one of the most common causes of damage.
