A Great Day at the Food & Bev Engineering Show
Last week, the Tekta team headed to Derby Arena for the Food & Bev Engineering Show, and what a brilliant day it was!
The event gave us the chance to meet engineering managers from food and beverage manufacturers across the UK, catch up with familiar faces, and chat to plenty of new people about the challenges they’re facing on site.
Our Rapidor Impact door was on display throughout the day and sparked lots of great conversations. Designed for busy production environments, it’s built to keep operations moving with opening speeds of up to 2m/s, quiet operation, and a clever self-repairing curtain that resets itself after accidental impacts. That means less downtime, fewer repair bills and a door that’s ready to cope with the demands of food production, warehouses and distribution centres.
Alongside the Rapidor Impact, we were also talking about our Group Engineering Approach, which really resonated with visitors managing multiple manufacturing sites.
Many businesses feel tied into expensive, inflexible door suppliers or are dealing with a mix of different manufacturers and service providers. Our approach is different. We help customers create a consistent door specification across all their sites, while still giving each location the flexibility to use its preferred service contractor. With guaranteed spare parts, UK manufacturing, and experience delivering everything from individual replacements to multi-million-pound projects, we’re helping engineering teams take control of their door strategy without the hassle of supplier lock-in.
It was fantastic to hear about the projects our visitors are working on and discuss how Tekta can support them, whether that’s with new builds, site upgrades or improving the performance of existing door systems.
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand. We really enjoyed meeting you all and hope to continue those conversations over the coming weeks.
And of course, congratulations to our prize draw winners! We hope you enjoy your Fortnum & Mason hamper and your relaxing getaway in Burley Manor’s Shepherds Hut, we’re sure you’ll make the most of both!
If you didn’t get a chance to visit us at the show but would like to find out more about the Rapidor Impact or our Group Engineering Approach, get in touch with the team. We’d love to hear from you.
