Datacloud Catch Up

This week Jared and Oliver headed to Cannes to attend Datacloud Global Congress 2026, one of the biggest events in the data centre calendar.

Over three busy days, they had the chance to catch up with existing contacts, meet new people, and spend time connecting with professionals from across the data centre industry. With thousands of attendees from around the world, the event was a great opportunity to strengthen relationships and build new connections within the data centre community.

The congress brought together operators, developers, technology providers, consultants, and investors, creating plenty of opportunities for interesting conversations about the future of the industry. From the growing impact of AI and increasing demand for data centre capacity to sustainability initiatives and power challenges, there was no shortage of topics to discuss.

For Jared and Oliver, one of the best parts of the event was simply being able to meet people face-to-face. While video calls and online meetings have their place, there’s nothing quite like having a conversation in person, sharing ideas, and building stronger working relationships. Datacloud provided the perfect setting for exactly that.

The event was also a fantastic chance to hear different perspectives from across the industry and gain valuable insight into where the market is heading. The team came away with plenty of ideas, fresh knowledge, and a better understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing the sector over the coming years.
