Summer Strategy Day

On Tuesday, the Tekta team came together at the beautiful Elsted Village Hall for our Summer Strategy Day, a chance to step away from our desks, celebrate everything we’ve achieved so far this year, and focus on the exciting opportunities ahead.

The day struck the perfect balance between strategic planning and team building. We kicked things off with a series of department sprints, giving each team dedicated time to map out priorities, refine objectives, and align on plans for Q3. These focused sessions encouraged collaboration across departments and ensured everyone left with a clear understanding of the goals that will drive us through the next quarter.

Following the morning’s planning, we gathered for a company update reflecting on the first half of the year. It was a valuable opportunity to celebrate key milestones, recognise the progress we’ve made together, and acknowledge the hard work that has contributed to our continued growth. Looking back on our achievements reinforced just how much can be accomplished when every team pulls in the same direction.

Of course, no summer event would be complete without a little friendly competition. Throughout the day, the gardens at Elsted Village Hall became the setting for a variety of classic garden games, with plenty of laughs, light-hearted rivalry, and opportunities for colleagues from different teams to connect outside of the workplace. These moments are an important reminder that building strong relationships is just as valuable as building great strategies.

As the afternoon continued, everyone enjoyed a delicious barbecue in the sunshine, providing another opportunity to relax, catch up, and celebrate together. Sharing great food and conversation is always a highlight of our team events, and this year’s Summer Strategy Day was no exception.

One of the most memorable moments of the day was our awards presentation, where we recognised individuals and teams who have gone above and beyond during the first half of the year. Celebrating these achievements is an important part of our culture, and it’s always inspiring to see the incredible dedication, innovation, and teamwork demonstrated across the business.

We rounded off the day by setting the tone for the second half of the year. With clear priorities and a shared commitment to delivering exceptional results, everyone left feeling motivated and excited for what lies ahead.
