Tekta Joins DHF: Raising the Standard for Industrial Door Safety and Compliance

We’re pleased to share that Tekta is now a registered member of the DHF (Door & Hardware Federation), the UK’s leading trade association for companies working with industrial, commercial, and garage doors, as well as automated gates and hardware.

This membership represents a continued commitment to raising the standard of our service and strengthening our focus on safety, compliance, and best practice across every stage of a project—from specification and installation to ongoing maintenance.

The DHF plays a key role in shaping legislation and promoting responsible practices across the industry. As part of our membership, our team has undertaken DHF training, ensuring that engineers, surveyors, and support staff have the knowledge and up-to-date understanding required to meet current legal requirements and standards.

For our customers, this means added assurance that every Tekta-installed or maintained industrial door aligns with the latest safety regulations and performance expectations. Whether working in food production, logistics, manufacturing, or any other sector, our clients can trust that safety and compliance are always built into the service we provide.

We believe that well-informed people make better decisions. That’s why we’ll also be using our DHF membership to keep our clients updated on relevant industry changes—helping you stay ahead of any shifts in guidance or legal requirements affecting your facilities and equipment.

At Tekta, we’ve always taken pride in delivering LifeLong Reliability for doorways that matter. Being part of the DHF adds another layer of expertise and accountability to how we operate.

If you’d like to know more about how DHF standards apply to your doors or upcoming projects, our team is happy to help. Get in touch today to find out more.
