At Tekta, we’re proud to introduce our new EI-rated fire door range, a comprehensive portfolio of high-performance solutions designed to meet the demands of modern buildings. This range reflects our commitment to safety, compliance, and innovation, offering reliable fire protection without compromising on functionality or design flexibility.

We’ve developed this range to cover a wide variety of applications, bringing together four specialist products that each serve a distinct purpose while maintaining the same high standards of performance. Whether the requirement is for large industrial openings or discreet internal protection, our EI doors are engineered to deliver dependable results.

Leading the range is our Pyrodor Lift, a sectional fire door offering up to EI120 fire resistance. Built from composite panels with a fire-resistant core, it delivers excellent structural integrity alongside a thermal transmittance of 1.99 W/m²K, helping to reduce heat loss while maintaining fire compartmentation. This makes it particularly effective for applications such as lift shafts, fire partitions, and escape routes where both fire and thermal performance are critical

For larger openings, we offer the Pyrodor Fireroll EI, a fire-rated roller shutter certified up to EI60. Designed with galvanized steel slats and a fire-resistant composite core, it achieves a thermal transmittance of 2.11 W/m²K, providing strong insulation alongside dependable fire protection. Combined with automatic emergency closure and the ability to span wide openings, it’s a robust solution for warehouses and industrial environments where temperature control and safety go hand in hand

Where space is limited or aesthetics are a priority, our Pyrodor Flex EI provides a slim-line fire curtain system with up to two hours of fire resistance. Its compact design allows it to integrate seamlessly into internal spaces, while advanced activation options ensure rapid response when it matters most. We often recommend it for open-plan areas, stairwells, and escape routes .

Completing the range is the Traffidor Pass, our hinged fire door system offering ratings from E30 up to EI120. Featuring a highly insulated solid core, it delivers strong everyday thermal efficiency, with U-values as low as 1.4 W/m²K (and optional 0.9 W/m²K). This makes it an excellent choice for environments where energy performance, acoustic control, and fire safety must all be considered together

With this new EI range, we’re continuing to push the standard for fire protection, providing solutions that are not only compliant, but also practical, adaptable, and built to perform in real-world environments. Discover more about our range here
