Coming Together at Chevron House: Celebrating Our Team and a Strong Start to the Year

A week ago, we brought together our Central Hub team and Fleet of Engineers at our new Chevron House for a special day of connection, celebration and reflection. After a blazing start to Q1, it felt like the perfect moment to pause, gather everyone in one place and celebrate what makes Tekta such a special team.

The day was all about recognising the people and values that drive our business forward. One of the highlights was celebrating our Values Champions, team members who consistently embody the mindset and behaviours that make Tekta what it is. From collaboration and accountability to performance and positivity, these individuals represent what it truly means to live our values every day.

We were also incredibly grateful to welcome Alice Wright from Rowans Hospice, our charity partner, who shared more about the vital work the hospice does for families in our community. Hearing first hand how our fundraising efforts contribute to such meaningful support was a powerful reminder that the impact of what we do extends far beyond our own business. It was a proud moment for the team and a reminder of the difference we can make together.

Another key part of the day was taking time to explore what it truly means to be a Tekta A-Player. As we continue to grow, maintaining the culture that defines our business is more important than ever. Conversations throughout the day focused on how we support one another, take ownership, and continue pushing ourselves to deliver the high standards our customers expect.

Of course, no Tekta gathering would be complete without great food and plenty of good conversation. Sharing a meal together gave everyone the chance to reconnect, catch up and celebrate the strong start we’ve made to the year.

The event also marked an exciting milestone for the business, the official launch of our new home at Chevron House. This space represents the next chapter for Tekta, providing a hub for collaboration, innovation and growth as we look to the future.

It was a fantastic day. With such a committed and passionate team behind us, we’re excited for everything the rest of the year has in store.
