A Year of Milestones, Momentum, and Looking Ahead

As I look back on 2025, it’s impossible not to feel proud of how far we’ve come at Tekta. This year wasn’t just another set of months on the calendar, it marked a major milestone for us, brought new accreditations, deeper industry involvement, and set the foundation for the next stage of our journey.

Celebrating 25 Years

Reaching our 25-year anniversary was one of the standout moments of the year. Since Tekta was founded in 2000, we’ve grown from a small, family-run business into a trusted, nationwide provider of industrial doors and controlled-environment solutions. To celebrate, our team took a well-earned afternoon to come together over tea, reflect on our journey, and appreciate the people who helped build what Tekta is today. It was a simple celebration, but a meaningful one and a reminder of how strong our team culture truly is.

Raising the Bar on Safety and Standards

Another major achievement in 2025 was joining the Door & Hardware Federation (DHF). For us, this wasn’t just about adding a logo to our website, it was about reinforcing our commitment to compliance, safety, and best practice across installations, servicing, and product specification. Becoming part of the DHF strengthens our promise to customers, that their doors are safe, legal, and expertly maintained.

We also earned FIRAS accreditation for installing steel-hinged fire doors. This was a rigorous process, and earning it is a testament to our dedication to doing things the right way. Fire safety is an area where there’s no room for shortcuts, and I’m proud that our team continues to set high standards in this critical field.

Expanding Our Industry Presence

This year, we also joined the Cold Chain Federation, a natural fit for us. Much of our work supports cold stores, food manufacturing, and temperature-controlled logistics, so connecting with the broader cold-chain community helps us stay aligned with evolving standards, sustainability goals, and operational challenges across the sector.

Celebrating Growth

This year, it’s been great to see Tekta grow stronger and larger than ever. Adding new team members has not only increased our capacity but also brought fresh ideas, skills, and energy into every part of the business. Watching colleagues collaborate, learn from each other, and step up to challenges has been incredibly rewarding. Our growth isn’t just about numbers, it’s about building a team that’s skilled, motivated, and ready to take Tekta into the future.

Opening the door to 2026

One of the most exciting developments is our upcoming move into a larger, purpose-built facility. Bringing our office and production teams under one roof will allow us to streamline our operations, improve collaboration, and support our growing customer base.

As we close out 2025, I’m grateful for our progress and even more energised for what comes next. With stronger accreditations, deeper partnerships, and a renewed focus on innovation, the future for Tekta looks brighter than ever.
