The Brief
P&G’s Reading site contains 17 speed doors, 13 roller shutters and 4 fire shutters. Previously, the site had limited investment, and their provider was extremely reactive, which didn’t align with Sodexo’s aim to proactively improve the site’s performance and operational efficiency. Their confidence in door providers was low, with reliability key to a successful partnership.
The Solution
P&G appointed Tekta as their servicing provider in early 2025 after a referral from one of Sodexo’s other customer sites. Following a successful service visit, which outlined and prioritised key areas of focus using our RAG report, work then progressed on replacing any damaged or end of life parts. Their General Services Manager was quoted saying “We’re happy with what Tekta have done on the new doors. I wish we had 20 more of them.” Tekta have also responded to five call-out requests, all within SLA, preventing unnecessary production downtime.
