The Brief
Upgrading the quality of their doors was high on this health & wellbeing manufacturers priority list. Prior to Tekta, their hinged doors weren’t GMP standard, meaning they weren’t stainless steel and had a painted coating. On top of this, they were in incredibly poor condition.
The Solution
Tekta installed 22 Rapidor Pharma, speed doors on site. The key benefits include, air-permeability of <12m3/m2h at 50Pa, high speed operation of up to 2000mm/second, anti-static curtain and grade 304 or 316 stainless steel frame. Due to the door types high performance, the customer reported turning down their air handles. “They no longer need to be running at full power to get the same amount of air differential in the room. It’s made us more efficient.”
In addition to replacing their poor performing doors, Tekta have also been entrusted to maintain and service their speed doors to ensure lifelong reliability.
